ABOUT US
Welcome to Variety Shop! We are a two person design studio made up of Josh Stover and Rachael Perisho. We specialize in hand painted signs, murals and graphic design. We are based in Richmond, VA but also enjoy traveling for projects if it seems like a good fit for us!
We take pride in creating our own designs for signage, murals, and logos, but also paint existing logos that are a good fit. We love to design signs and murals that include bold, graphic shapes, lettering and illustrative elements. Our design style draws inspiration from historic signs, vintage advertising and product packaging. We are always eager to find ways for signage to fit into each building’s unique character and architectural details. We see each job as an opportunity to make our world a more interesting place through art and design.
HISTORY
Josh Stover and Jeffrey Sincich founded J&S Signs in 2014. J&S Signs was founded in our home state of Florida, and was relocated to Portland, OR in 2015. In 2021, we changed our name to Variety Shop and Jeffrey relocated to San Francisco where he works as an artist. Since Jeffrey’s departure from the business, Variety Shop has been run by Josh and Rachael. In 2023, Josh and Rachael moved to Richmond, VA along with Variety Shop.
